New York
The city that never sleeps produces glossy hair and finely polished fashionistas. On the upper east side, you will not find a chipped nail, loose thread, or a hair out of place as people rush around like their lives depend on it.
It is a wonder the women march around in sky-high heels. But, as my New York-born cousin would say “pain is beauty,” as she steps into six-inch heels and zips up her Tom Ford dress that she fought a woman for at Saks off 5th for last week.

The best times to visit New York are from May-June and September-November. Here is a guideline for traveling in New York City.

This family-owned brunch spot is one of my favorite places in the world. The restaurant feels like home as the Bubbie and Zaddie who founded the small resturant have pictures of themselves and family littered all over the walls. The food, althugh small in portion, is light and full of middle eastern falvors.

Don't get too caught up in the hype of Times Square. It's cool to walk through the square and glance at all of the lights but there isnt much to do but shop at chains, eat fast food, and take pricey pictures with people dressed in costumes.
