Hello! I am Jessica, a 21-year-old Canadian student currently studying Media Information and Techno-culture and Writing at Western University. I love watching both Game of Thrones andProject Runway. It’s a strange combination, I know.

In my spare time, you can l find me sipping a black coffee (I’m addicted) while scrolling through fashion bloggers’ Instagram feeds attempting to find dupes for their outfits on a tighter budget.Aimee Song, a California-based blogger, and Negin Mirsalehi, a Dutch blogger, are two of many influencers that I look to for inspiration. These bloggers post about their lifestyles, travels, and fashion ventures. I especially love their vlogs (video blogs) that cover the many fashion week events that take place in New York, London, Paris, and Milan.

Ever since I can remember I have been travelling the world. My parents traveled to Spain with me when I was six months old. They used a dresser drawer as my makeshift-crib. I assume, along with my Eastern European features, I inherited the travel bug from them.

Another thing I inherited is my mother’s eye for fashion. I remember waddling around in her heals and dresses at four-years-old. I believe fashion tells a story. Each bag, scarf, or necklace has its own narrative and often evokes the taste of the meal I ate the first day I wore it. Let’s face it, fashion might be my first love but food is a close second.
